We offer a mentoring service as we believe that it promotes personal growth and helps people to achieve their goals. Our mentoring service is focussed on career development. We provide learning mentors, workplace mentors and business mentors.

The Five Lamps Organisation has a small team of Volunteer Mentors and also several paid staff who have experience and interests in different areas.

How do we do this?

•    By listening, supporting and encouraging.
•    By identifying options, and looking at the good and bad things about each option.
•    By creating an action plan and reviewing it at appropriate stages.
•    Referring clients to specialist provision if appropriate (for example a Counsellor, a Debt Advisor, a Health Professional, a Careers Advisor)
