Enterprise Workshops

On behalf of Business Link, Five Lamps run a series of FREE enterprise/ business training workshops

There are five separate workshops and they cover:

  • Is it for me? – the pros and cons of self employment;

  • Getting the basics right – what goes into a business plan?, what do you need to consider?;

  • Managing money and making a profit – everything to do with managing the finances, before you start and when you’re up and running.

  • Finding and keeping customers – Market research, marketing and sales;

  • Running a successful business – how to manage your business.

The workshops are

  • In a relaxed and informal format;

  • Around 3 hours long;

  • Held either from 5.30pm to 8.30pm or 9.30am to 12.30pm;

  • Usually at Five Lamps main offices at Eldon Street, Thornaby, TS17 7DJ.
