Homes that are unsuitable to live in can have a negative effect on an individual’s health, or their ability to continue to live independently, while homes that are poorly maintained, or even left empty can have a much wider detrimental effect on the pride and sustainability of whole neighbourhoods.
If you are a homeowner and are struggling to carry out repairs, essential improvements, or adaptations to your home we may be able to help. You may only need advice to help you to undertake the works yourself, to give you the confidence to engage a contractor and tell them what is required. Financial help, in the form of an affordable loan and step by step support is available if you cannot afford to pay for essential works yourself.
