Alan Robson Bursary 2012

The Alan Robson Bursary is issued anually by Five Lamps in the name of our late President, Alan Robson.

Alan Robson was passionate about lifelong learning and also about creating positive futures for young people, particularly in the Thornaby area.

The bursary of up to £1,000 is made annually to a young person from the local area who is taking up a place at University and will cover expenses directly linked to the chosen course, rather than student living expenses. The kind of expense that the bursary may cover would include a laptop, books, subject expenses of more expensive courses like Design or Theatre etc.
