Five Lamps’ Enterprise Team are celebrating after successfully achieving the Customer First standard for the third time

The Team successfully first achieved the standard back in 2010 and were thrilled to be reaccredited with the standard during their assessment on 10 July 2014.

During the assessment, Five Lamps’ enterprise services were evaluated against 30 statements under three key criteria. The criteria – customer relationship, market awareness and people – enabled the Assessor to identify our strengths and any areas for continuous improvement.

Mike Wildey who undertook the assessment on behalf of Customer First UK Limited said

“Five Lamps continues to be an organisation that genuinely embraces the Customer First approach and deserves to be highlighted as an ‘exemplar’ for the Customer First standard’”

Organisations that have achieved the National Standard for Customer Service do so because they put their customers at the heart of everything they do. Leaders within these organisations are people with the vision to embrace the standard as a tool for continuous improvement in order to raise their competitive advantage within their sector.

Graeme Oram, Chief Executive of Five Lamps said “

We are delighted to secure further Customer First reaccreditation. The standard provides a strong foundation for our work with individuals from the most disadvantaged and vulnerable groups in society and enables us to measure our social impact as well as supporting the continuous improvement of our services”

Five Lamps’ Enterprise Team supports over one thousand people into self-employment each year, providing high quality coaching and mentoring and a wide range of access to finance.
