e2e

e2e (Entry to Employment)

e2e is a programme of support to help young people aged 16 – 19 bridge the gap between leaving school and finding employment, apprenticeship or further education. Our e2e programme has the highest progression rates in the Tees Valley and County Durham.

There are 3 main strands to e2e:

1.    Career Development.
2.    Personal and Social Development.
3.    Skills for Life and Key Skills.

The emphasis of e2e is preparing you to find the job you want.

What does e2e involve?

•    Work tasters through placements with local employers.
•    Help to find work.
•    One- to- one career advice.
•    Basic and Key Skills support.
•    Learning opportunities and the opportunity to gain qualifications.
•    Confidence building.
•    Mentoring.
•    Activities (including rock climbing, archery, swimming, bowling, orienteering and quad biking)

Our e2e programme runs from the Youthy and is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

You could be eligible to claim an Educational Maintenance Allowance (EMA) of up to £30 per week.
