A new exciting social enterprise has landed in Tees Valley!

MyBnk is an education charity which helps 11 to 25 year olds manage their money effectively and make enterprising choices. Five Lamps are now delivering their programmes across the Tees Valley.

MyBnk’s high-energy style introduces young people to all aspects of money management, from earning and budgeting to planning for university and banking.

With tough job markets and tuition fee rises, the need has never been greater.
In schools, colleges and youth organisations, we’ll be getting young people excited about money, understanding how it makes the world go round, as well as confronting worries and boosting confidence.

The Finance Programmes 

Money Works - a financial education programme empowering young adults aged 16 to 25 moving into independent living to gain financial control of their lives. This accredited three session programme can be delivered in one day or over two or three separate sessions.

Money Twist - arming young people with real life money skills through a comprehensive series of hands on workshops. Aimed at 11 to 16 year olds, the three session programme can be delivered in one day or over two or three separate sessions.

Uni Dosh - a targeted two hour workshop for young people about to leave school or college and considering moving on to university.

The Enterprise Programmes 

Back My Business - a unique school based enterprise experience using real money where young people are challenged to create real businesses. They compete for 0% interest loans and MyBnk support in making their business a reality.

Enterprise-in-a-Box - all-inclusive, step-by-step start-up toolkit for budding social entrepreneurs, showing you can make a profit and a difference. Featuring exclusive ethical products and guides, we take young people through the journey of setting up and running their very own social enterprise.

Business Battle - Five days, five sessions, from drawing board to market, taking young people through the journey of generating, creating, implementing and evaluating their own enterprise ideas.
